Open School Students on Laptop 650x250

Introducing a New Group Subscription for Institutions of Higher Learning

To better support colleges, universities, and residency programs, we’re launching a low-cost group subscription model for the IHI Open School in Spring 2025.

What's Included in the New Subscription?

  • Comprehensive Course Access: Students and faculty gain access to all 13 courses required for the Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety.
  • Recognition of Achievements: Printable certificates for each course and a comprehensive certificate upon completion of all courses.
  • Educator’s Toolkit: Tools for teaching, including course summaries, slides, assignments, exams, recommended readings, and reporting functionality.
  • Affordable Pricing: Only $25 per user for a full year of access.

We Listened to Your Feedback

Over the past year, the IHI Open School team has made significant improvements to meet your needs. These enhancements, launching in Spring 2025, include:

  • Simplified Enrollment: Streamlined process for student and faculty onboarding.
  • Flexible Plans: Pay only for the exact number of users you need.
  • Improved Accessibility: Upgraded to meet WCAG AA Standards, ensuring inclusivity and ease of use.

Important Changes

If your students currently access Open School through free individual accounts, please note that this option will no longer be available after May 1, 2025. Transitioning to the group subscription ensures uninterrupted access and enhanced benefits for all users.

If your organization is currently subscribed through a paid group subscription, this new pricing model will be available at the time of your next subscription renewal. During your current subscription period, you will continue to have access to the entire Open School catalog of courses and all other included benefits.
